I was ill for the last few months of 2017 (off and on from August 28th to December 30th). Although this was never confirmed, my doctor strongly suspected that I had mono. After about three weeks, most of my symptoms started disappearing, but I remained very tired for the rest of the year.

This meant that I spent most of my time sleeping, listening to music or watching YouTube videos on my phone. This was fun for some time, but it became boring very quickly and as I slowly started to feel better I became more and more frustrated that I still couldn't go out and see my friends or just sit on a chair for longer than half an hour.

So I started writing some songs to take my mind off it and recorded them the same way I did with my previous EP 'Shadows in Spring': cheap USB microphone, tablet laptop, Audacity. I basically used any guitar that I had lying around. All of these songs, except 'Kaizo Mario World', where finished on the same day I started writing them. I hope you enjoy this little mini EP. It's all a bit sad, but I think it captures the feelings I described earlier really well. Thank you for listening!
