This song was written and first recorded on December 12th, 2017. However, there was a very bad unintentional ritardando in the second chorus, so I started re-recording it on January 26th of 2018 (after I got better). It turned out to be quite a lot of work and I only finished the song on February 22nd. This was recorded using my two most 'fancy' guitars: my Ibanez western guitar and my Fender Stratocaster.
lyrics
I'd like to be a normal kid
And carry all this weight
But I feel like a sack of shit
That can't even sit straight
How many times I tell you
That I feel fine
It doesn't go away
How many times I tell you
That I'm alright
I never feel okay
I hope that no-one wants to hang out with me today
I've been this way for so long I don't know what to say
All day long I sit at home
And bore myself to death
Almost always all alone
Is really where it's at
How many times I tell you
That I'm alright
It doesn't go away
How many times I tell you
That I feel fine
I never feel okay
Watching speedruns of kaizo Mario World 2
Dram55 did it really well, you should watch it too
Sitting around playing mobile games 'till my eyes hurt
Reading conspiracy theories about who killed Kurt
Writing down all my worst ideas for music vids
Checking Facebook to see what's up with the cool kids
Seeing all the events that I will miss this week
I never knew that my arms and legs could feel this weak
And you know what I don't care what all of you think
It's just my body and I've got to wait
And who says that I'm boring if I don't drink
Or don't stay up past nine or maybe eight
And I don't need to apologize
If I always feel ill
It's not about you
It's always hard when you realize
That the world will just spin
On without you
Watching speedruns of kaizo Mario World 3
Now I wonder just what the hell is wrong with me
Watching speedruns of games that I've never heard of
I don't feel like it today I'll take a day off
